I can see where it would be discribed as the site of a fight but on what basis is it called a massacre?  Forteen bodies found.  I assume that it is assumed that all 14 were on the same "side".  Maybe these were the winners, they were burried.  The losersmight have been left to the scaveners.

What I am trying to say is that based on what the article said a lot of assumptions arebeing made.

On the other hand I'll make an assumption--mankind has not really changed much.

What I am trying to say is that based on what the article said a lot of assumptions arebeing made.


Since I've been doing these archeology posts, one thing I've learned is that assumptions run wild. Especially at the beginning of a new find.
