I'm sure some of you have incredibly awe inspiring views. And some of you probably don't.

So what do you see from your desk? Post a photo. Smiley

Not a particularly inspiring view from my desk, since it faces a wall.  However, the wall is a bright, cheerful lemon yellow;  and if I look up, there's a painting of a scarlet macaw in a vivid red frame that I bought at an artists' co-op in Key West a few years ago.  There's also a framed scroll from a Society for Creative Anachronism  Kingdom-level arts award that I got for cooking and heraldry.  Both evoke some excellent memories.

:-) We turned one wall of the living room into the "Wall of Honors" so we had somewhere to display our AoA's (I have one, he has three--from two different kingdoms LOL), my Purple Fret (service award), and his older daughter's White Owl (youth arts award, she's the premier recipient in the kingdom!).

Sorry for the thread derailment, but SCA-talk almost always makes me smile. Almost.

Can't do a pic right now, but would you settle for a possibly not-so-poetic desciption?  To my left is my unmade bed, piles of clothes and other random junk (and possibly a jar of pickles, don't ask).  There is a window looking into my neighbor's garden and I have a awesome view of the sun (right now it is night, so soon I will have an awesome view of the moon). Directly in front of me is my water goblet, a shampoo/body wash/bubble bath combo bottle, a mini file foldy thingy, and more random junk.  To my right is more junk and piles of laundry (can you tell this is the bedroom of a college student yet?) followed by a turbo fan and another window looking into my neighbor's garage.

With a picture like that, you could un-kill a centuries-dead corpse!  Absolutely stunning!

The little camera phone over-compensated for the dimness - I think it looks like a UFO out there. Cheesy

Surely someone else has something to see from their desk...

OK I'll play. I can't top WarHorse's pictures though.

I have a corner office so I have views in both directions.

Inspiring the view is not but at least I have windows I can open.

Hey, your workplace isn't in motion. Tongue

You have light, you have plants, you have trees in the distance - not too shabby. Smiley

At school, view from the glazing table. Pic as a link, as it is rather large.

At home I'm not at my desk now (if I was, my view would be curtains and a messy table), but sitting with my laptop on a comfy sofa. Directly in front of me there's the studio, which means loads of cables, effect boxes, keyboards, old radios, computers, mixers, CDs, CDRs etc.

Looking slightly to the right and down, there's this dude:

Directly to the right and behind me, shop storage (= CDs, LPs, singles, what have you) and behind me the packaging desk.

Slightly to the left across the room, this fellow:

Directly to the right a doggy fence across the room, dog toys on the floor, two large windows with a view to grassy fields and in front of the windows loads of house plants and ceramic objects (including the vase in the first pic).

To the left-hand side / behind me, my hubby and his desk, and next to him, the reason for the doggy fence being here:
