I am making my sister a beaded snood for yule.  At least I will as soon as I can find the beads.  Does anyone have a good internet source for the 100 bead strings that you can load onto crochet cotton #10.  I'm going to need at least 1000.  She wants silver.  I'm thinking bigger than seed beads, but not pearls.

Are you looking for silver-colored glass or sterling?  Either way, I'd recommend Fire Mountain Gems.  Best prices (short of wholesale) on really good bulk beads.  And no, I don't work for them.  Wink

I've never done beading (can't because of some hand problems), but I've heard that company recommended many, many times over the years.

It's kind of a fashionable hair net that usually sits on the back of the head.  Simple ones look like this.  Here's a beaded example.
