Although the thought of ketchup and mac and cheese sounds a little gross.

But...but... That's what makes it edible to begin with!  It's one of the three foods ketchup was made for.  (the other two being hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches.  The only reason to use ketchup on anything else is to disguise the taste)
