Next Monday, it will be a year that the bottle has been sitting in the fridge unopened.

You must be a good cook. I go through about a bottle a year. Cheesy

My culinary skills have (almost) nothing to do with it.  I rarely eat foods that I would put ketchup on.  The only one I eat on a somewhat regular basis is fries and since I normally get seasoned fries, ketchup would be a distraction from the flavors that I like.

Got to be mayonnaise on the fries for me ... You can keep the ketchup.

I eat foods that others put ketchup on rather frequently, but I still don't eat ketchup.  If a fast food joing forgets not to put it on my burger, I'll eat it.  Otherwise, I never touch the stuff.

When I went to Amsterdam (age 14, many years ago) there were kiosks on the street that sold fries with mayonnaise.  That's not exactly my thing, but I do like them with tartar sauce or ranch dressing.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, there was a shop in Santa Monica called Benite's Frites that sold only fries, but included a dizzying variety of sauces.  They were sooo good.  (Except for the garlic mayonnaise, which had raw garlic and did not agree with my pregnant self...)

Hot dogs, I understand, but the other two...<insert wincing emoticon here>

I'm with you there.  Then again, the only thing I really put ketchup on is tater tots/hash browns.  (Fries I usually eat plain, and I tend to put mustard and relish on my hot dogs on the rare occasion I have them.)

Does anyone play the lottery draws?  I am not very successful with it so far. Quite frustrating!

The lottery can be frustrating. I've won small amounts along the way, I kept missing a larger prize. May I'll have success eventually.

yeah, but there are gambles that are far more likely to pay off and cost a lot less.

Or at least are more fun along the way!

To all the people who play lotery I suggest the read of this very nice assay:
http://www.amazon.com/Calculated-Risks-Know-Numbers-Deceive/dp/0743254236/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1219926104&sr=1-2

It tells you that if you have one chance over 20.000 to win 1 million $ with a 1$ ticket, it means that you have 19.999 chances to lose 1$...

I'll play on rare occassions.  As others have said, can't really play "what if I won..." without it.

And I figure my chance of winning is as good as anyone else's, or more accurately, everyone else's chances are as astronomically bad as mine.

I have had absolutely no success, btw.  In fact, I'm thinking they should give a special prize for those who successfully manage to avoid matching even a single number every time they play.
