I have been jumping up and down hyper for most of the last week! I am currently applying for a school in India which I really want to get in to. I had my interview about a month ago and they have been doing other interviews and will be meeting this weekend to decide who to accept. So of course I am going to continue to not be able to stop thinking about it till I get the email some time next week.  Cheesy

So anyway, the point of this thread was to ask if anyone has a ritual ideas to a) help me be more calm until I find out or b) help me prepare myself for the news. I never do ritual on anyone/anything other than myself so I won't be doing anything for good outcome or accepting me, a) because I don't believe that magik worked on others works and b) because I would not feel right doing it, but anyway, that is a different topic. So any ideas?

Meditation might help on both.

I'll second Randall's suggestion of meditation and will add perhaps grounding and centering if you do either one or both.  Smiley

All of the above sounds good -- especiallly the grounding and centering.  You might lean the meditation towards the asorbing of lessions.  Everything -- positive or negative -- has a lession for us to learn.

Have you considered enjoying the hyper mood?  It's not often that one experiences excitement in life, so it's worth treasuring it whenever it comes along. Smiley

Meditation might help on both.

I do quiet a lot of simple breathing exercises and meditation, at least once a day. For specially focused meditation I try to use something to focus me that is somehow tied to what I am trying to do eg. if I want to try and get rid of a bad habit then I burn something representing it. I am trying to come up with something specific for this also. I think I might just do some stuff with candles and focusing.

Grin Yes, but it is getting a little distracting and I can't get anything done for thinking about it!
