I haven't bothered to read the articles, but PajamasMedia has (as of Tuesday evening) a bunch of articles calling Palin a great choice, a bad choice, McCain has blown the election, McCain will get the upset Clinton supporters, etc.  chose which one you want to believe.

Right now, I really think it's too soon to be very definitive. For two weeks, the circus is in town. Last week the Democrats hosted it and this week the Republicans have pitched the tent.

I think that nothing is really going to resolve itself for a couple of weeks (unless Palin leaves the ticket and I just don't see that happening). Between now and the middle of the month, though, all the reporters who flew to Alaska to dig will have turned up whatever is available. The blogosphere will echo them and the nightly newscasts will follow suit.

I think that is when we'll really know more. Right now everyone on the Democratic side is just having a big party. What stumps me, though, is how unprepared the McCain campaign and its surrogates are for what's been cropping up over the last several days. I mean, the arguments about foreign policy are positively hysterical. And I just can't believe no one thought this was going to come up. It's as if McCain spent the last four months setting the stage and then tapped someone who was exactly like what he was bitching about with Obama.

I wonder if this would piss off some of those who would support her?

Unless NPR is steering me wrong here, it seems to be having the opposite effect.  And what really pisses me off is, were it a Democratic candidate's unwed teen daughter knocked up, there'd be screaming from the Religious Reich, but because she's one of their's they're all jumping to her defense; bloody hypocrites.

Or me soo ya, could have been much much worse. Like for example, I could have said something like oh I dunno "If she spent more time on her knees then her back, she might not be in this position" and gone for like triple entendre.

Well, I s'pose it depends on what direction she was facing... Cheesy

I'm really curious as to why we haven't heard more about the Palin church video. She says scary stuff like -  National leaders should send our troops out on a task that is from God.” and God's will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built. We heard for months about Obama and Rev. Wright

I hope people who get to the church web site before the church took it down made copies of the video as I have doubts that it will be back.

I saw that yesterday. I do know her church scrubbed it's website of sermons, but I suspect that what has happened is that we're at the end of the convention and nothing more is really going to come out until it ends. There's just not enough oxygen right now.

And when I find them, I'll post a link. I really loathe this sort of thing.
