I bought this figurine at a thrift store.
Can anyone tell me who or what it is?
A god, warrior, or maybe nothing in particular? Thanks!

It surtainly looks like Buddha for me. In a prince form not the laughing form.

I agree, probably a Thai Buddha, or somewhere in that part of the world. (Buddha art varies a lot based on region.)

I third it being Buddha, and seconding what Koi said.  It's like representations of Jesus differing from region, time period, denomination, etc.

That figurine is lord Shiva. This is very oldest figurine. This is not lord Buddha or Christ. This is only lord not warrior.

The commercial link to a non-Pagan oriented product has been removed from your typed/pasted in message signature. From our Advertising Guidelines:

Quote
* Reasonable links to one's business are allowed in signatures on messages and in "About the Author" boxes at the end of articles published on our community portal provided they are links and not full blown ads. One's signature is not an advertising billboard, however. Signatures consisting solely of lists of links to commercial sites/affiliates/products not directly related to Paganism are not generally allowed. Links to non-Pagan products or to non-Pagan commercial sites or affiliate sites are not allowed at all until one has posted at least ten substantive messages. If it appears to the Hosts that you are making generic/useless posts to get the business links in your signature in posts, you may be banned from using them at all or even banned from this forum as we consider this a form of spamming.

Please pay special attention to the bolded text. And if you have not read our rules has you promised you would before posting when you agreed to our terms of service, please do so immediately. Thank you.
