Has anyone read:

Ancient Egyptian Divination and Magic by Eleanor L. Harris, or Heka by David Rankine?
There are tons of books out there that claim to be "Egyptian Magic", but I have no idea which ones are actually well researched.  A lot of them seem to be mostly Wicca or Ceremonial magick and I'm not sure how much of it is actually "Egyptian".

I recently ordered Peter Der Manuelian and James P. Allen's translation of the pyramid texts.  A friend of mine says he can vouch for Allen so I'm hoping this was a good translation for me to be buying.

Yay for more books Smiley

I have not heard of those books before, burning_tree, but they sound most interesting. I have also very interested in finding out Egyptian magick or at least more on the rituals of life and not-so-much on their rituals of death, which is what is more common.

Thank-you for the book titles I will need to get my hands on those. Smiley

I've seen Heka on Amazon...thought about it myself. Instead I got Mysteries of Isis by Regula and Pillars of Isis...
I've read part of Mysteries so far, haven't touched
Pillars yet, tho. I love Mysteries of Isis as far as I've gotten.
