Yes, we will be doing a group shift for the solstice, and you are welcome to join in.  For future reference, we usually talk about group shifts in the thread on the shift schedule, in the Cill SIG.

Would the fourth shift suit you?  In the cycle that begins in a couple of days, it'll be on 14 Jul, or if that's too soon for you (let us know if it is), it'd be 3 Aug in the next cycle.

Hi, Poppy.  Unless you have a different shift preference, I'd like to put you on the eleventh shift.  For this cycle, that's actually today, but you don't need to rush around to try to keep it unless you really want to; you can start next cycle, when that shift will fall on Aug 10.

I'll include you on the roster and the Google calendar when I update for the new cycle (which I do on my own shift, so you'll see it sometimes between sundown tomorrow and sundown the next day).

Hi there! I'm very new to TC, and fairly new to working with Brigid in my spiritual work... But I have recently felt that nudge to get more involved (and more formal, at least for a little while, in my practice), so I would like to put in a request to join the Cill and take a shift keeping the flame. I've been exploring some of the older posts and I think I'm up for it. What do I need to do to get involved?

Heh... you just did most of it.  Do you have a preference for what shift you'd like?  (No guarantees on that; right now we have empty slots and my #1 priority is making sure they're filled - but if you have a preference, I'll accommodate it if I can.)

Usually I add people to the roster immediately (and post a revised one in the Shift Schedule thread), but since I know I'll be updating it again in a few days anyway, you won't be formally added until then.

Delighted to have you!  Most likely I can't give you the 13th shift, since it's covered and we prefer not to double people up on shifts when there are empty ones.
