So my question is, not being Wiccan, what should I expect at the Samhain ritual?
Just to let everyone know how it went...
It was very nice actually.

About a dozen people gathered for the ritual. The weather was great, a little crisp but not cold and there was a slight breeze but it was not windy. There was not a cloud in the sky so we had a nice attendance of stars as well.
After the calling of the quarters we sat on tree stumps around a fire pit and were given a guided meditation leading to a banishing ritual. We then shared cider and pumpkin bread before a closing prayer to the God and Goddess was given. Afterwards most stayed for fellowship and talked about our paths and answered newbie questions.
It was really a nice night. I was a little disappointed there was nothing in the way of honoring ancestors though, but other than that I have no complaints. I learned that the group organizer is not Wiccan but on an eclectic path so future events will be loosley Wiccan or Druid inspired. Needless to say I will be returning to more events.
