You are right.  That's why I make sure even my little kids eat at least a bite.  I found that out after NOT making sure they did it, and then racking my brain trying to figure out why they were ALL up at 2:00...STILL!  Amazing how it affected even people who weren't terribly "involved" in the ritual itself.

I'm going to stray from the subject here for a minute and ask a few questions if you don't mind.
How old are your kids, how do they do in a ritual setting, and how old were they when you first started bringing them along? I have two. I ....just erased the rest of the post and decided to start a new thread. Would you mind looking it up and telling me how you did it?

wow, thank for the great info, It really helps, and I agree with the grounding, I've had that happen to me before.
I found out more about who is coming, and that may be an issue.
