But I don't have experiences with Texas though.
Utah took about 2 weeks.

It should be about the same to Texas. Of course, some of the US Mail times just seem random.  IT can take anywhere from 2 days to a week for a letter to go from Waco, TX to my mother in Bowling Green, KY depending on who knows what.
