Do you celebrate secular Christmas, religious Christmas, Yule, something else or nothing at all?  Do you feel any need to 'justify' your celebrations with sources or UPG?

My particular path is eclectic Wiccan with Irish celtic leanings. It's not "Wicca with shamrocks"... I'm genuinely trying to understand Irish paganism past and present, as well as neoPagan Druidry, and incorporate facets of that into my Wicca.

Having said that, my husband I celebrate Yule in the general Wiccan manner. We also do a secular Christmas gift-giving with our families. We've got lights up outside, and we're debating whether or not to risk a tree with our psycho cat in the house. I'd like to move our gift exchange to Yule, but I'm not sure all the mail-order gifts will be here by then.

No, I don't feel much need to justify what I do. I've kept the secular holiday traditions I always enjoyed, and added the Yule stuff to it. About the only change from my childhood is not going to church on Christmas Eve.
