At least those questions related to what you were getting out at the end. Smiley

Heh yeah it seemed like the test just stuck on 'Mage' to whatever your result was. The test itself seemed more like 'Which B-Grade Horror Movie Character Are You?'

Fun quiz that I took years ago and only now just re-discovered.

Too fun!  This sounds about right to me...

And see my whole thing started with the first question where I wanted to answer, "Huh? I don't camp."

Same here.  Cheesy

Took the quiz anyway, came up Illusionist.

Yeah...  I guess the result isn't too bad, maybe, I dunno.  But I'm not that impressed with the quiz either.  Even taking it with the assumption that I actually would engage in such a camping trip, I still didn't like the answers.

Like, where's the option for "I'm calling 911"?  (Not to mention "I'm checking for a pulse and breathing, and not having any of this prank when I figure out the blood isn't blood".)  Or perhaps "I'm getting out Hubby's GPS and leading us out of the woods"?  Or perhaps, "I'm camping in a state park, where the car is parked TEN FEET FROM THE TENT on a well-marked road, besides which I know this campground backward and forward anyway"?  It's all way too set-up.  This is not at all how this particular scenario would play out for me, having not ditched my brain when I decided to go camping, but I'm being herded into it anyway.  *shrug*

The quiz seemed to be designed for people who would head out alone to look for the ax-murderer instead of staying together, building up the fire, making some nice pointy sticks and the like and waiting for the ax-murderer to be dumb enough to charge the camp.

Ya, I'm an Earth Mage too.  I agree with what you said, the answers kind of sucked.  But oh well, it's just for fun.   Wink

Probably because what they give you is HTML, which the board software here doesn't process--it has to be BBcode, which is ever so slightly different.

Yep, apparently it is an animist thing.  Or a Canadian thing.
