I have an entire playlist of what I think of as Brighid music, most of which is actually about or dedicated to Brighid.  This is one of my favorites, although I think it's a different artist than the two or three versions I have.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhNEzKxRBis

I particularly like the images they put together for this You Tube video.

Does anyone else have music they think of as Brighid music?  Want to share?

Right now all I have is "Follow the Lady" by Carbon Leaf.  I'm glad you brought the topic up, because I'm in the market for new music Smiley

I just put this on my LifeJournal and my MySpace!

I'd love to share, but sadly my music is on my computer and it is being worked on.  *weeps*  My geek-fu failed me and I couldn't make her work so I had to turn to a mightier geek!

I'll have to steal my daughter's Carbon Leaf CD.  She's been a fan for years, but I haven't heard that particualr song.

My absolute favorite for Brighid music is Katy Taylor's album Welcome Brighidhttp://www.katytaylor.com/music.shtml

There's a list of Brighid music and books here:  http://www.brighid.org.uk/resources.html

I have most (maybe all) of the CDs listed and many of the books.  I really like some of the music, and some of it is OK.

Wow, cool! Thank you for the resources.  "Follow the Lady" doesn't really point out Brighid specifically.  Some of the lyrics refer to light, but mainly I like it because it mirrors my story of how I found Her.

Is it? they are both from two different games unless the same composer did both of them.

I tried again and it worked.  I must have screwed up somehow earlier or Vista is messing with me again.

Anyway, the second piece is also beautiful.

Thanks for sharing this, I have never heard of them before and I really liked it. I may have to invest a few new cds.  Cheesy

Tonight is my shift...I have a blue candle burning next to me.  I've just finished a light vegetarian meal and am now enjoying the warm this little candle offers me.  I'm on youtube, looking for music and I thought I would share these with you all:

Ooh!  I have a song to share!

I came across this song in FYE on the New Moon Soundtrack of all places.  It's called "No Sound but the Wind" by the Editors.  The chorus is the most important of the lyrics.  The rest are more suited for the New Moon movie, but the chorus is amazing. Smiley
