I'm interested in what people who cast circles think is the proper way to close a circle.

I usually cast deosil and uncast widdershins, either once or three times around.  I also call elements deosil and thank them widdershins.

Starting exercises:
- See an orange in your mind.
- Smell it and taste it.

This reminded me of when I was in second grade of primary school (7 years old). One day, our teacher told us to close our eyes and picture a lemon. After a while she told us to taste it. I didn't like it. Cheesy But I like lemons now, they are good for my digestive system, lol.

Feeling, especially, seems to be the easiest means of sensing energy. 

That's interesting to hear - it's definitely the easiest for me, but I had wondered a bit if I was weird like that.  Smiley  (In the past few years I've found out I'm much more of a kinesthetic/experiential learner overall.)
