Have you used prayer beads in your practice?  If you have, I'd love to hear what you've done.  I'd love to see pictures if you have them. 

I have in the past.  And then they fell apart and I haven't restrung them, though I keep meaning to.

Since my patroness is Kwan Yin, and 108 is a number with some significance in the Far East (definitely in Buddhism, though I think also in Hinduism), I started from the idea that there would be 108 main beads.  This is not exactly a new invention.  108-beaded prayer malas are extremely common, in fact, as is using the mantra "Om mani padme hum" on each.  But as a fellow ex-Catholic, I liked the idea of breaking them up into smaller groupings.  I ended up with four groupings based on a song to Her with four verses.  Using one of those verses at each of the larger beads prompts me to reflect on Her a bit differently during each series of chants, which is a familiar/comfortable pattern.
