I hope this is in the right forum...

Okay, so I painted the wooden handle of my athame black - with oil. I know I probably should have used a wood stain, but oil was what I had on hand, and I wasn't thinking ahead.

It didn't dry for a month. (Curses!) Then I coated it with a quick-dry medium, and it is now about 80% dry. But some persistently moist spots remain. And it kind of needs to be dry by this weekend. What can I do?

Thessaly: It's time to draw down the moon.
Foxglove: We did this. Or something like this. We had water and salt, not blood. We invoked the goddess in her aspect as the moon. We called down her power...
Thessaly: Did she answer you?
Foxglove: Well, it felt good at the time. Empowering.
Thessaly: Hmph.

Yikes. Well, you could put it in a room with low humidity and very good air circulation. Try aiming a couple of fans at it?  Other than that, I can't think of much else.

My bathroom walls took two weeks to dry, and that was latex paint. In retrospect, painting in July when the humidity was close to 100% probably wasn't such a bright idea. It didn't help either that I was too impatient to let the paint dry thoroughly between coats, so I just kept slapping on coats over the course of a day. Putting fans in the room helped a lot, so maybe it will work for you.
