Maybe there is a problem with the forum software. Caralywhynn can't start any new topics in the regular member section because the buttons aren't displayed correctly in her account.

We logged into her account together from a friend's computer and they were missing all the same. It's not just those buttons, but also a lot of others. For example the log-out-button was missing too and half of the dark blue buttons like 'Profile', 'TCN' etc. There was a lot of blank space or squeezed buttons without naming around.

She's using the same browser (Firefox/Mozilla) as me. Maybe it's an account problem as everything is displayed correctly in my account and she has the same problem on different computers. We couldn't compare our accounts on the same computer though because since the log-out-button was missing we weren't able to log out of hers and into my account to look if the buttons were missing there too. She says the problem has been for about a week or so, but not since she registered.

I just got back home and here I don't have any problems with my account. But on the computer of our friend I saw how everything was screwed up, so it's not just a matter of being unacustomed to the forum and not finding the right buttons. They are definitly missing.

I hope anyone can make sense out of this.  Huh

You're both using firefox, but are you using the same theme?  I'm not very tech-savvy, but I did notice back when I used one of the glowy themes that a lot of my buttons didn't show up, or were pushed to the side.

Maybe she could try switching to the default theme, if she is using a different one, just to see if it makes a difference.

How do you switch the theme? I can't find the option in the layout section.

She probably needs to change her language (in the forum software) to English. Only English has a complete set of "words" -- the others just display nothing for "words" that no one wrote a translation for.  I'll see if I can do it for her.  But given I'm not my normal system, no promises.
