I'm ordering it tonight! Reminds me of another book "Women Who Run With The Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estes...I love that book! Looking forward to reading the 13 Original Clan Mothers~
I thought it would go that way too, but this one doesn't break down the stories as completely for you. There is a bit of a foreword for each story, but it doesn't really tell you what the lesson is. You have to find those parts within the story and interpret on your own.
Estes really goes into looking at how the stories affect our psychology without compromising the story itself well.
I've got a couple versions of WWRWTW and I was amazed to find in a later version some of the stories were missing. I had to go pull my old one out of the trash actually because the new one didn't have the last story, about going into the woods so your life can begin.
