So, I haven't been on in the past few days because I've been busy getting all my junk together for my first major travel adventure!!!!!!!!!  Grin

I'm leaving for ten days in Northern Ireland tomorrow! I won't be back in PA until the 24th. I'm going with my school for a course... I'll be doing some research on the education system and segregation over there. In addition to doing touristy things, taking gads of pictures, and having fun with some new people. Smiley

We're spending a few days each in Belfast, Donegal, Derry, and Bushmills. If you can't tell, I'M SUPER EXCITED! Cheesy So I won't be around for a while, but I promise to post pictures and everything when I get back.

Wish me "safe traveling" thoughts!

At a B&B in Derry right now and loving it! We're about half way done. Sad

Well, I've been back for a little while and have had NO time to chill! I did get my pics up on Facebook. We were in four separate places over ten days, so there are four separate albums.

- Belfast We didn't get to spend much time soaking up Belfast. Lots of lectures and discussions with amazing people though! Lots of education people! woohoo.
- Donegal This place was so beautiful and spiritual. I understand the need for all the megalithic stones. Smiley And it was so overwhelmingly "Celtic" in its energy. Right after we unloaded our stuff at the hostel, we took a walk up to the watchtower along the cliffs and the ocean. As we turned to go back we got a brief rainshower... then the most vibrant double rainbow appeared right in front of us. It was amazing. Cheesy
- Derry This was my favorite place (along with Donegal, both for very different reasons). It's kind of a paradox how this is such a fun and vibrant city, yet so much history and bloodshed took place there. Jon McCourt's tour of his Bloody Sunday experience was one of the most powerful experiences I've ever had... I truly can't explain it. And that night was one of the best nights of my life going out on the town. Cheesy If you go to Northern Ireland, you absolutely must go to Derry!
- Bushmills and Antrim Coast Sooo beautiful. It's not fair. Dunluce Castle was sooo neat, but Giant's Causeway wasn't as imposing as I thought it would be. Smiley

Let me know what you think or if you have questions on anything!
