I think a lot of us have scaled back from last season.  Personally, I'll be glad to get more than half my list done this season.

As soon as I figure out how Spring went by so quickly, I'll come up with my list for Summer!  Tongue

When you figure this out, let me know!  Wink

This seasons goals (better late than never, eh?):

1. Lose 1-2 pounds per week
1a. Meet final goal for weight/fitness
1b. Once met, maintain for rest of season (this might be the hardest part, lol)

2. Make at least 8 (preferably more) day hikes this season, working towards an overnighter the first part of Sept.

3. Keep up with the weeding/care of herbs and veggies.

4. Figure out if I'm moving. If not, figure out some way to pay bills while being a full time student.

5. Get final arrangements together for trip to Indy the middle of August.

I think that's good for now.

I'm just going to start out easy this time.

I'm so burnt out that's all I want to even think about doing right now.

1. Exercise 4-5 times a week. 30-60 mins. per. Been doing the Wii-fit and so far, good to go.

2. Unload boxes. Moved a whole bunch of empty tupperware (and loaded some stuff for storage) out of the bedroom and into the shed.

3. Keep yard mowed. Bought weed-eater line.

4. Retrieve stuff from my Mom's house. (3 1/2 hour drive away.) Not happening until August, afaik.

5. Try to keep my murderous impulses in check at work. So far, so good.

At least this time, goals are getting worked on.  Smiley

Might as well update, while I'm thinking about it.

Real World:
1. Finalize moving plans.--In progress. All of this seems to be contingent on where I get a job. Le sigh.
    a. Figure out where I'm going.--I will either end up, by September, in Austin TX, Denver CO, or back at home in SA desperately trying to get a job in either of those places. Whew!
    b. Figure out how I'm going to get there.--I will be flying, no doubt.
    c. Figure out what to do with all this crap I'm not taking with me.--I will be selling/giving away my furniture and most of what I can stand to give away (which is a lot), and either boxing up books and things and checking them onto plane, or shipping them.
2. Ask about getting 4 more hours at current work.--Done. Asked, and perhaps will receive.
3. Find a job by season's end.--Also in progress. Resumes being sent out like whoa to places in Austin and Denver.

Brigid's World:
4. Work on novel thirty minutes daily or two hours weekly.--In progress. Most of this is doing research, but hey. It's working on it right?
5. Read ten books.
6. Crochet two more toys or one bigger project.--Also in progress.

My World:
7. Go on long walk (5 mi) once a week (if possible).
8. Get out into natural area.

Total Goals: 8
Completed: 1

I'm not sure, but I think I may have the first failed goal of the season.  Hoorah for me!

1. Get through busy season at work with sanity intact. - Failed, failed, failed.  My last bit of sanity was stomped upon today.  I'm not necessarily a patient person, but it takes a whole lot to push me to the edge.  Today, I reached the edge and was holding on by my fingertips as the management tried to do a flamenco dance on my fingers.  It's time to find a new job.
2. Visit best friends in July.  - This is going to happen... or else.  I need to get away.
3. Regularly contribute to savings fund for UK trip next year. - In progress.
4. Decide on subject for this year's NaNo and do any necessary research. - How about what would happen if Satan's minions ran an office?  Grin
5. Maintain gardens through the summer. Water, weed, and harvest as needed. - I'm going to spend a lot of time in the garden this weekend, taking my frustrations out on the weeds.

2. go to irish music sessions every wednesday. (no session in jackson.)
3. go skating 3 times a week. (no ice rink in jackson)
4. do 1 scholarship essay a week (done extra!)
5. work 10 hours a week for my parents' firm. (vacation)
6. read 3 books (working on it. halfway done with 2.)
7. charge my protection spell (not yet)

1a.  Do 15 sessions with The Firm Cardio Dance Fusion exercise DVD.--Currently at 6.
1b.  Do 15 sessions of 20 minutes or more (excluding balance games) on Wii Fit.--Currently at 6.
1c.  Do 15 sessions with Prevention Express Butt/Belly/Thighs exercise DVD.--Still at 3.  It's been a bad week for exercise in a general sense.

2a.  Determine what my NaNoWriMo project this year will be.--OK, I think I've got "what it is" in the most general sense figured out.  So, done.
2b.  Develop a basic outline to work from.--Working on figuring out major plot points.

3.  Watch Buffy through the middle of season 6.--Not much progress; I've gotten distracted playing Sims3.

4.  Get back down to 180.--Already giving me fits, because apparently my weight likes to fluctuate by 4-5 pounds over the course of the week.  I suspect this has something to do with my diet over the weekend--I may be retaining more water on Monday than I am on Thursday?  I don't know how else to make sense of this.  And I can't really report progress until I make enough sense of it to figure out what the hell I actually weigh anyway.   Undecided

Total goals:  7
Done:  1 (14%)

I know the feeling. I'm on uni holidays atm so I will sit down at lunch for a quick session on the Sims 3 and 5 hrs later realise I'm hungry and it's getting dark, lol.

1a. Meet final goal for weight/fitness
1b. Once met, maintain for rest of season (this might be the hardest part, lol)

2. Make at least 8 (preferably more) day hikes this season, working towards an overnighter the first part of Sept.-- One down, seven to go!

3. Keep up with the weeding/care of herbs and veggies.--So far so good.

4. Figure out if I'm moving. If not, figure out some way to pay bills while being a full time student.--Still up in the air.

5. Get final arrangements together for trip to Indy the middle of August.--Almost done, have to find the rest of a costume and mask for a ball.
