*blinks* I cannot decide whether to be surprised or not, seeing as such "spiritual tourism" is not unknown in other countries as well. But I still find it poor in terms of what it says about western culture...

A while back on the Beehive board, someone asked about the difference between the neoPagan and New Age movements.  I thought this article provided an excellent illustration of the latter (though admittedly at its most extreme).
