Firefox 3.5 is out and it does seem to be faster.  Most of my extensions work fine in 3.5. All of the ones I consider "most important" did except for Tab mix Plus. I had to download a development version from the tab Mix Plus forum here:

and install it manually. 

Overall, I'm liking what I see so far with 3.5.
