I don't know if it's just me or not but when I clicked on the above link (twice in fact, just to be sure), I got the "this album is private, please login in to view" message from Photobucket... Undecided

Interesting - I could view it yesterday, but not today.

I'm not sure this is the right section...

There's been a good amount of talk about making or using prayer beads (or at least I'm noticing it a lot Wink), so I was wondering: do you use prayer beads? Do you want to? Did you make your own? If so, what arrangement did you use and why? Do you have a set group of prayers you use with the beads, or are they more of a prayer focus-item? (Does that even make sense?)

I used to be an avid beader, and after reading through this thread I am sorely tempted to make a set of prayer beads of my own.  Just what I need, another bloody project. Wink

Right now, I use a nubby stick that I found on the beach in the same manner that it seems most people are using the prayer beads; I broke it into a few different pieces, actually, and use each piece for a different purpose.  The pieces I use for prayer I turn in my hands as I pray, either going from nub to nub with a specific mantra (I'm currently on the lookout for some new ones) or sliding my fingers over the stick as a whole as a tactile focus for general prayer.

I've looked at everyone's pictures of their prayer beads, and I have to say they're beautiful!  I love how each set is so different; they're like little works of art with a purpose.  Lovely.
