This will come as an utter shock, I know... I get the references, right down to Kingsbury. Of course, I also own a pie pan that's been christened the Todd after it was used to make a particularly juicy and rather unfortunate looking cherry pie.

Where is this cookie of which you speak?  I may be sick and twisted, but I still like cookies.  Cheesy

How did I know that you would probably be the one who would get it?

I think Mel's probably referring to Kingsbury Run Murders (aka the Cleveland Torso murders) in the 1930's.  At least that's the Kingsbury that springs my mind given the theme.

And that one is very obscure.  You get another cookie.

(and I think I'm freaking the guy sitting next to me with my maniacal laughter)

I know that this is tasteless and will probably make me look bad but...

I named my car Heather because it's on its last leg (or it was before I got it fixed up).

I also name my knives.  My chef's knife is named Norman (but my mother calls them "Norman Knives" so that's probably just something I picked up from her), my boning knife is Jeffery, and my bread knife is named Kingsbury (a cookie for whoever spots the theme/referances).

I know I'm sick.

Eddie and Teddie are my chef knives (Eddie is the larger, Teddie gets used a bit more),

Now that you've concretized the earworm that hadn't quite pulled together for me, I'm probably going to get the whole durn soundtrack.  With audience participation lines.  (Ultimately, more my fault than yours - I'm the one who's chosen, on innumerable occasions over ye gods nearly three decades, to dress up funny to go to the movies in the middle of the night.)
