Again to Moonivy:

Here are a few more things I did. I figured out the reason why the triskele was all distorted, it was something in the "clipping out" phase, I hadn't done a careful enough job.

All I did was save your original one on my computer cut out the center and paste it over the center of the new design - more than slightly sloppily but I was awake for all of 30 mins when i did it

I personally like the last one the best, but the one in the middle is closest to what you had first come up with. The design stands out better in that one as well.

The more I look at them, the more I like them all.  The first one evokes fire, the second one is closer to what I had in my head (which doesn't mean it's better), and the third one evokes water.

I have to think about it...

This is a big decision. Wink

Thank you again for working on it!

The background is a snippet of a fractal that I created myself Smiley The full thing has crescent moon-y looking things around the outside. I have hundreds of fractals that I've made. The red one is also a fractal background.

The coolest part about all this is that I NEVER could have envisioned these designs myself.  I just don't think that way.  It's so cool that you can.

Lol I don't envision a lot of the fractals I make. The computer program renders them, and then I adjust them to suit me. When I look at one that I've created though, I start seeing things that I can do with them. I have hundreds of them, and when I need a background or an element for something, I just look at what I have and usually something "jumps out" at me as being suitable.

That septagram in my avatar is a fractal I made. I still don't know how I did it. I don't think I'll ever be able to do it again (and I'm still thanking the gods that I didn't get goofy and forget to save it or have a computer crash or something.) That was the most stunning piece of dumb luck I have ever encountered.

Do you:
b) have no idea what to do for your avatar, but still want a shiny picture?

That would be me in a nutshell.

I even love playing with gimp at home but right now home is not connected to the net.

Still have no idea what I want though...

Ok, photographic or abstract design? If photographic, plant or animal or landscape?

I just noticed that you're not a "full member" yet though, and until you are, you can't upload your own avatar. Sad But I could give you some things that you could use when you can use them.
