Ok, photographic or abstract design? If photographic, plant or animal or landscape?

I just noticed that you're not a "full member" yet though, and until you are, you can't upload your own avatar. Sad But I could give you some things that you could use when you can use them.

Thanks  Grin
Yeah it'll probably take me a while too since I'm only online at work and if I'm posting it will mean I'm ~not~ working.  "But data entry gets sooo sooo boring."

If abstract I have a thing for spirals.  Anyone ever seen the move Uzumaki?  Photographic and I'd say plants or animals.  Horses, rabbits, grapes, blackthorn trees and fruit (it's a wild plum tree).  My favorite colors are blue, black and purple.

Have a look at these:

The sunflower just would not leave me alone, lol no matter what. It came up in every search I made, even when I was searching for "horse" so I went with it. The spiral I found on a free clipart site.

Weird that you would get a sunflower when searching for horse.  I think it fits more for my hubby ~ he is a botanist of sorts and actually calls/called himself sunchild on a different forum.

I love the spiral one.

Many Thanks.  I'll save them to my flash drive and use them when actually gain full member status.

Since you're not a full member, you can't upload your own avatar. I'm not sure what the requirements are to become a full member- I'd check the Rules & Regulations folder first.

It has to be resized significantly to be used as an avatar (the width can be no greater than 100 pixels). I've resized it and uploaded it to my own photobucket account, but again you have to become a full member before you can use it.

I could also crop the original picture to show more of Kali's face and resize it.

ETA: cropped & resized:

Ahh, yes. I need to find my way around this forum Embarrassed . I won't be eligible for full membership for three years so will wait till then. Is there any way that I can put the pic in my signature?

Yup- signatures can be no taller than 150 pixels, so either of the avatars I made would work. You can right click on either image, select properties, and then highlight the entire location and copy it. Then just paste it between image tags in your signature. You can test your signature in the Signature Testing thread where you can get more help.

I'd better add this to the first post.

Just by the way, that's the Newgrange spiral.  I love it, too, and I have it on a bracelet.  To me, it's very primal.

I knew I'd seen it somewhere.  I did a bit of reading awhile back about earth mounds and similar structures.

For some reason most spirals seem very primal to me
