I've gotten it smaller, apparently, but it's still 1K too big.

Maybe crop the bottom a little?  8K is pretty small for a 100x200 image though.  I just realized mine was too big and got it down to about 8.5kb, I hope that's small enough.  Undecided

EDIT: Don't listen to me, I didn't even think to try a JPG instead of a PNG.  No cookie for me.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I'm looking for, but rather than spelling out "Altair", I'd rather use my symbol. Something like this; I've gotten it smaller, apparently, but it's still 1K too big:

I like that image! I've downsized the file for you:

Okay, what I would like (if you can find one) is an appaloosa any kind of spots but with a blanket (a big white butt with spots on it, and solid colored on the front.

Ok, take a look at these three.  I can adjust the color of the horse somewhat.

Picture 1 is great. Not Jubes...but close. Jubes is a lighter red and his mane and tail are red not black...but that guy is pretty close. Let's just go with him.

I like him.

It was no big deal. My program can resize most images well. All I did was reduce the image quality by a few points. It usually isn't noticeable (although with some images it really doesn't work well) but it reduces the file size immensely. (My avatar was 17.5 KB and I reduced it to 7.77 KB! You can't even tell the difference between the two images.)

I also tried to change his color a little bit, not sure how I like it, but here they are so you can decide:

I LOVE the last one: with Phoukamare in black. I agree with your opinion, let's not lighten the boy up...go the first level, last one with phoukamare in black letters.

Now, how do I get it as MY avatar?

Now, how do I get it as MY avatar?

Ok, first you have to save it on your computer:

1. Right click on the picture.
2. A menu will pop up, click "Save Picture As..." (IE) or "Save Image As..." (Firefox)
3. The save box will come up, save the picture somewhere you can find it again.

Next you have to upload the picture to the web.  Photobucket is good for this.  You can sign up there and they will host your picture for free.  Upload the picture according to their instructions, and then scroll down, find your picture, and under the pic it will show you the "URL Link."  That's what you put in on your profile page.

I hope that makes sense... according to my mom, my computer instructions are clear as mud.  Tongue  If you need more help you can IM me, too.

Well, you tell your mom that these instructions were clear as diamonds!!!! I actually got it right the first time with your instructions...and folks can tell you that is VERY uncommon. The last time I tried to do something like this, I had 4 people trying to help and I stil couldn't figure it out and finally gave up.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!

I can do some photo editing as well as make custom avatars (by using brushes, etc.).

I use Adobe Photoshop CS...

If anyone needs anything just ask. Smiley

I can make glowy avatar/sig stuff like in mine. I especially like to make Kemetic Ones. (I don't have all the netjer in my clip file, but I have most of them.) I like making them as a hobby, so I don't mind making them for other people  Smiley
